I think I have found the solution to all this... When you convert movies in Videora, you usually use the pre-defined profiles. They are all set to encode movies using 25 FPS and we all know that many divx movies are originally encoded to 23,976 FPS. So if you encode movies that are originally encoded with 23,976 FPS, you change the video to 25 FPS but the sound stays the same as the original. This is my theory which I have to put to test.

You can manually set encoding profiles and you only need to set the framerate to 23,976 to encode movies that originally use this framerate. But as I said, I have to test it myself before I post if this is true.

I have tried AVC and it seems to be no better than Videora concerning audio sync delay. I tried converting The Matrix Reloaded and the audio is a fraction of a second early for both AVC and Videora - the original VOB plays fine. Strangely The Matrix Revolutions converts fine unlike Reloaded.
