When using the FM transmitter and 12V car charger together, you can enjoy listening to music from your iPod on your car’s FM stereo without worrying about the battery level on your iPod. This is because the iPod will play and charge at the same time. The 12V car charger has a safety fuse inside which will protect the iPod against power surges. When using the FM transmitter and the included USB cable, you can charge the iPod and sync with your computer at the same time without the need to remove the FM transmitter. This product includes a 30 pin dock connector and is compatible for use with iPod 5G, iPod nano (1G and 2G), iPod 4G, iPod color display, iPod photo, iPod mini and iPod 3G. The FM transmitter is compatible with iPod 3G models but the 12V car charger adapter and USB cable are not compatible for charging iPod 3G.
