Getting it engraved by a third party after purchase most certainly WILL void the warranty!  That&#039;s a physical process that can damage the iPod&#039;s internals and Applecare will immediatly turn you away if you bring one in.  I think you&#039;re referring to factory engravings - might want to clarify this before some bloke loses his warranty</description>
