I tried the drag n drop the first time but it didn't work. So I went to read the comments on the download page , in which the first one solved my problem...

I use VISTA btw

I went to setup.exe to configure the settings (format, language) and closed 3GP Converter. Then I selected the movie 'open with' and opened the movie through the 3GP Converter and it worked :D

the beeping sounds you are hearing are most likely the result of using an onboard sound card during the conversion process. many onboard sound cards pick up electric interference since they are situated directly on the motherboard, and this is a fairly common issue. if you don't have onboard sound, then there is something else strange going on.

I've converted some shows and they work fine, except there is a small beeping (sounds like a high pitched "blip" sound) every now and then. Does anyone else get that, or is it just me? It's irritating...

Right click the file named 3GP_Converter.exe and select "Properties". Click the tab "Compatibility" and check the box that says "Run this program in Compatibility mode for:" and select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" then hit "Apply". That should allow you to use the program in Windows Vista.
