Comment Policy

Comments that are abusive, off-topic, profane, racist, or include an ad hominem attack will be deleted.

Comments are liable to be edited for content, clarity, and lengath.

Comments that contain lengthy excerpts (75 words or more) from your own works or those of others, including news articles will be edited for brevity. Link to any source you wish to cite and include an appropriate, short, excerpt for context.

Comments that are loaded with grammar and spelling mistakes have the potential to be deleted. There are spelling and grammar checkers for a reason.

Comments with more than a few links in them get filtered as spam. On manual review, if the comment warrents, it will be cleared to be posted.

Comments that self promote are discouraged. Your name already links to your website, no need to include a link in the comment unless relevant to the discussion at hand.

NO SPAM. Several powerful forms of SPAM protection are in place, but any violators will have their IP address banned.

Additionally, failure to respect any of these policies could result in losing your commenting privileges.

Privacy Policy

iPod Legends respects the individual’s right to privacy. As such, iPod Legends will never collect personal information from the site’s users unless it is specifically asked for and the user agrees to give such information. iPod Legends will NEVER give or sell your personal information (including email address, mailing address, name, phone number, date of birth, etc.) to ANY third party unless we are legally obligated to do so, or the user has agreed to the dissemination of such information beforehand (as in the case of contests and giveaways).

Our web server monitors geographical and technical data on each user that accesses iPod Legends, and that data may be used in order to better tailor the website to the user (via cookies usually), but never for any other reason. The collection of this data is outside of our control.

While iPod Legends has security measures in place to protect any and all forms of user data, we are not responsible for any breach or theft of such data under any circumstances whatsoever.

Users of the website who display personal information in public areas such as comment boxes or forums agree that this information is viewable by all users of the internet and that this information is capable of being viewed and recorded by third parties. iPod Legends has no control over public-viewable information being obtained by such third parties, and we are not responsible for anything that happens as a result of such collection of information.

Children under the age of 18 are required to have parental approval before using any section of the iPod Legends website. We do not make the collection of age data mandatory, and as such have no control over the use of the website by minors.
